My work experience with the USGS includes investigation of climate-related hydrologic trends, watershed rainfall-runoff modeling, hydraulic modeling, statistical modeling, eco-hydrologic assessments, riverine and lacustrine sediment mapping, and public-water-supply water budgets. Ongoing and recent work includes: documenting historical long-term trends and modeling of future climate-related changes in streamflow and groundwater; development of national streamflow and groundwater climate change indicators in cooperation with USEPA; investigation of statistical methods for forecasting groundwater levels in the U.S.; investigation of trends in low flows and flood flows across the U.S.; and researching methods for computing river flows using satellite imagery and altimetry data.
