Tess McConnell, AWB®
Biologist/Data Scientist - Cooperative Research Unit Headquarters
As a Biologist/Data Scientist with the USGS's cooperative research units, I assist CRU scientists and students as they manage their fish and wildlife data. My professional goals center around using fact-based efforts to support natural resource conservation through research, policy, and communication. My undergraduate degree comes from Southern Utah University and my Masters from the Pennsylvania Cooperative Unit at Pennsylvania State University. For the Cooperative Research Units, I act as a product manager to identify and implement tools aimed at increasing efficiency and data quality while also handling data and software release guidance.
