Victoria is a curator and museum specialist with the USGS Geological Materials Repository.
Victoria curates and manages the scientific working collections for the USGS Geological Materials Repository. These collections are housed in the D-Bay storage area in Building 810 of the Denver Federal Center. Victoria’s background is in geology and paleontology. Her past research experience includes using geochemical and palaeobotanical methods to answer questions about Late Cretaceous and early Paleocene ecosystems. Her past professional experience includes work with the National Park Service, the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and the Joslyn Art Museum. She has also been an adjunct or visiting instructor at the University of Nebraska Omaha and Colorado College. In addition, she is passionate about science communication and education, and she has a variety of science outreach experience, both professional and volunteer.
