The Dixie fire burned steep hillslopes in the northern Sierra Nevada California during the summer of 2021 and was followed by two significant storm events in October 2021 and June 2022. These events hosted wholly different rainfall characteristics and resulted in very different postfire flow events. These events are highlighted in this story map.
