About this tool
The Virginia and West Virginia Water Science Center operates and maintains extensive monitoring networks and conducts hydrologic investigations to quantify each component of the hydrologic cycle. These monitoring networks and investigative expertise enable the Center to address nearly any type of water-resources question or hydrologic data-collection need.
The Virginia Water-Monitoring-Sites Mapper displays Virginia water monitoring-site locations from the USGS National Water Information System. It provides access to surface water, groundwater, and water quality monitoring data for active sites. The functionality includes query, select, tabular display by county, hydrologic unit code, and exporting spatial and tabular data.
