Contaminants of Emerging Concerns

pChemicals of emerging concern have been detected in our Region's lakes and rivers, groundwater, finished drinking water, estuaries, and nearshore marine environments. The short-term and long-term impacts on ecosystems, species, and water resources (including drinking water sources) are beginning to be understood.
