Dr. Lucy Jones gave opening remarks to kick off an event "Whole Community Resiliency: Can We Work Together to Create a Resilient Southern California," attended by grantmakers, government officials, business leaders, non-profits, and community leaders and held in downtown Los Angeles on September 17th. Discussions covered disaster preparedness and explored opportunities to demonstrate leadership and make investments to facilitate the region's ability to bounce back after a disaster.
