Newly Published: USGS Circular - Get your science used—Six guidelines to improve your products

The USGS Circular “Get Your Science Used--Six Guidelines to Improve Your Products” has now been published. Ideas for the circular began with efforts in summer 2014 to address how to broaden the understanding and use of the USGS National Seismic Hazard Maps, plus gather communication insights to be applied to other scientific products. The circular embodies the collective work by SAFRR’s Cadre of Relevant Experts (CORE), a team of revolving experts and practitioners from across a range of disciplines, through a series of workshops and collaborations led by SAFRR’s Sue Perry. The publication is now available in hopes that it will be a valuable tool to help improve the use and understanding of USGS science.
