SAFRR Initiates First Meetings for the Pan-Pacific Tsunami Scenario
Stephanie Ross (Pacific Coastal Marine Science Center), Nate Wood (Western Geographic Science Center), Kwok Fai Cheung (University of Hawaii), and Joel Palmer (FEMA IX) have initiated meetings to discuss the creation of a new tsunami scenario with a focus on Hawaii, surrounding islands in the Pacific, and the US mainland. Discussions will continue as plans move forward to develop this next tsunami scenario.
