SAFRR Joins Headquarters for NHMA Retreat
SAFRR team members Sue Perry, Lucy Jones, Erin Burkett, Dale Cox, Kristin Ludwig, and Sandra Dedeaux joined a NHMA retreat together with the headquarters USGS Natural Hazards group in Reston, VA on January 27th to 30th. The retreat was especially beneficial for the SAFRR group to strenghten communication with headquarters, for newer members to be introduced and have a chance to meet fellow colleagues in person, to share updates on various efforts, and take part in working group goals aimed and improving plans, processes, and communications.
