Gene transcription in Pacific Salmon

This dataset contains gene transcription results for Pacific salmon occupying freshwater habitats in various Alaskan watersheds. This data release includes two tables: 1) gene transcription results from muscle samples collected from Pacific salmon occupying freshwater habitats ("pacificSalmon_geneTranscription_values.csv"), and 2) a data dictionary providing the names, definitions, and units for the genes presented in the transcription values table ("pacificSalmon_geneTranscription_geneNames.csv"). Heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) results from fish included in this data release are published in a separate data release available at https://doi.org/10.5066/P13ZYKWR. A selection of fish reported here have been analyzed for Ichthyophonus prevalence and density and the results are available at https://doi.org/10.7944/P92U48S6.
