Geomorphic Data for the Bad River Basin, Wisconsin, 2003-2024

This data release provides tabulated geomorphic data from surveys for nine reaches along the Bad River and its tributaries the Marengo and Potato Rivers, ranging from 2003 to 2024. Included on this page is a tabulated inventory of all the data files (child items) and additional information associated with each reach. Child items are listed by their corresponding reach number. As data was collected, the use different survey instruments changed over time, beginning with the use of an auto level and then shifting to a total station. Data may include auto level and total station cross section surveys, longitudinal profile surveys, pebble counts, and bank erosion pin surveys; please refer to the 'Supplemental Information' section of the metadata for information about how to set up the cross sections for future surveys. Data can be found in the corresponding .CSV files. Portable Document Format (PDF) files of location maps are also included.
