Heidi Broerman
Heidi Broerman is an early career physical scientist at the Upper Midwest Water Science Center.
Heidi Broerman began her career with the USGS as a student field assistant the summer of 2022, assisting in gaging and water quality sample collection efforts in the Green Bay area. Post graduation she began working with the survey full time before moving into her current role as a physical scientist in Madison, WI. Her work with the USGS includes developing sediment budgets to address erosion and sedimentation causing eutrophication problems, assessing geomorphic channel conditions in relation to stream and riparian habitat and restoration evaluations, analyzing geospatial data with ArcGIS Pro, surveying, and assisting in various physical and biological sampling efforts.
