Hydraulic Model Archive and Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) Results for Simulations of Invasive Carp Egg and Larval Drift in the Lower Sandusky River, Ohio, after the Removal of Ballville Dam

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) simulated the drift of invasive carp eggs and larvae in the lower Sandusky River, Ohio, after the removal of Ballville Dam near Fremont, Ohio, using the Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) 4.1.1 (Garcia and others, 2013; Domanski and Berutti, 2020; Domanski and others, 2021). The hydraulic inputs used in the FluEgg simulations were generated using a one-dimensional Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) version 5.0.7 model of the Sandusky River (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 2019). HEC-RAS simulations and FluEgg simulations were run for both steady-state and unsteady-state flow conditions. This data release includes the relevant files that document how to run the HEC-RAS and FluEgg simulations of the lower Sandusky River. It also includes the simulation outputs.
