Luminescence Data for Holocene and Late Pleistocene surface faulting, Monument Hill fault, Red Rock Valley, southwest Montana

October 21, 2026

This data release contains luminescence data associated with 10 samples collected to accompany detailed geomorphic mapping and interpretations of two paleoseismic trenches along the Monument Hill fault, a northwest-striking fault bounding the eastern Red Rock Valley in southwestern Montana. These optically stimulated luminescence ages, between >80 and 8 ka, provide new information to constrain the timing and kinematics of late Quaternary slip along the fault.
