Satellite- and phenocam-derived phenology data for assessing alternatives to NDVI for tracking vegetation dynamics in the western U.S.

These data support the publication: "Alternatives to NDVI for tracking vegetation dynamics in evergreen ecosystems of the western United States". The file contains 1) annual peak information (value and timing) of vegetation indexes at 12 phenocams and from co-located Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite data (daily 500-m Nadir Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function-Adjusted Reflectance [NBAR]); and 2) data derived from the analysis of index sensitivity to forest disturbance.
