Vegetation, Sediment, and Elevation of Five Restored Tidal Marshes in the San Francisco Bay Estuary, Sampled 2024-2025

June 11, 2026

This dataset includes measurements of biological and physical attributes of five restored tidal wetlands in the San Francisco Bay Estuary. All marshes were restored in the last 30 years, from the late 1990's to the early 2010's, and are located between San Pablo Bay in the north to the South Bay Salt Ponds in the south. Biological attributes measured include plant species presence, abundance, and average height. Physical attributes measured include sediment cores analyzed for bulk density and percent organic matter as well as Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) elevation data.
