The report titled "Field Trip to a Laramide Low-Angle Subduction Channel: Orocopia Schist in the Gavilan Hills, Southeasternmost California with Incidental Localities for Three Blue Minerals", which is associated with this Data Release, describes a one-day field trip to examine a latest Cretaceous subduction channel exposed in a readily accessible area of southeasternmost California, 40 km north of Yuma, Arizona.
