Costa's hummingbird on Cape honeysuckle

Seeing a hummingbird enjoying your garden can be an exhilarating and special experience. Many hummingbirds are attracted by tube flowers and bright colors, such as those on this Cape honeysuckle (Tecomaria capensis), which is native to southern Africa. A plant showing similar flower characteristics and native to eastern North America is trumpet creeper (Campsis radicans).
