Chak Wa (Winston) Cheang
Winston is a Student Trainee Geography in the Western Geographic Science Center.
Winston’s research focuses on the development of remote sensing models and software that monitors coastal vegetation and other landcover changes caused by storm events. These models can be used in hydro-morphological models to improve forecast of hurricane impacts. Winston is also interested in developing user-friendly graphical user interface and conducts user research to enhance the usability of these models.
