We have been busy over the last four months since our July/August issue. We were not able to release a September/October newsletter due to updates to the USGS website system, but are excited to share that information and more with you now.

Geopackage Format Coming Soon!
The USGS is excited to announce the release of the GeoPackage format for all downloadable products, including the NHD, WBD, and NHDPlus High Resolution.
Changes Coming to NHDPlus HR Markups
Markups will no longer be collected directly for NHDPlus HR, and markup collection and processing workflows have been redesigned to focus on source data improvements.
Updating the NHD Update Tool Training
USGS Partner Support updated the NHD Update Tool training in Spring 2020 to better serve student needs.
Creating the Geometric Network Manually
This article describes the manual process for creating a geometric network using the ESRI out-of-the-box elements in ArcCatalog. Be aware that you must have the STANDARD (ArcEditor) license or above ArcGIS software to use this process.
