Liquid Chromatography (LC)

Liquid chromatography is an analytical technique that allows for compounds in a liquid state to be separated by capillary analytical column coated with different phases base on the physical and chemical characteristics of the analyte.  Separation of analytes is important in accurately measuring the concentration of the the analyte in the sample.
