Quality Control (QC)

Quality control samples are used to understand the performance of the method both in sample preparation and analyses.  Some examples of quality control samples include reagent blanks, reagent spikes, instrumental blanks, third party check samples, continuing calibration verification, surrogate standards, limit of quantitation  samples, and certified reference materials.
