Access to Landsat Collection 2 Level-1 and Level-2 data via USGS data access portals will be unavailable on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, for inventory database upgrades. The work is expected to take 8-9 hours. 

NOTE: Landsat 8 and 9 data acquired on June 22nd will not be processed until the upgrades are complete and data processing resumes. The newly acquired data are expected to become available for download on June 23rd

Direct access to Landsat Collection 2 Level-1 and Level-2 data through the commercial cloud will remain available, but data will not be available for download from the following systems during the upgrade timeframe:

The EROS Science Processing Architecture on-Demand Interface (ESPA) will remain available, but orders containing Landsat Collection 2 inputs may not be successfully submitted, until after the upgrades are complete and inventory systems are returned to nominal state.

*Information about Landsat Collection 2 Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 data acquired on June 22nd will be updated in the metadata files on Thursday, June 23rd.
