National Science Foundation (NSF) Marine Seismic Survey of the Queen Charlotte Fault, July 12–August 27, 2021.

DFO recognizes that this is a multi-vessel survey and that proposed activities may be carried out by vessels that are not under the direction of NSF personnel.To reduce impacts, DFO recommends that all relevant Queen Charlotte Fault Seismic Survey participants be made aware of and implement the avoidance and mitigation measures listed above and in the attached document. Furthermore, DFO recommends that the NSFcontact other Canadian federal authorities for advice on aspectsof the survey that fall outside of DFO’s expertise and mandate. It remains your responsibility to meet all other federal requirements that apply to your proposal.
