Antimycin A

Solvent vehicles are being tested for effective dissolution of the Antimycin A prior to testing its effects with various fish species’ blood. Ethanol and DMSO are being tested. The biomarker endpoint is mitochondrial function tested by flow cytometry. Mitochondria with intact membrane potentials are indicated by arrows; and non-functional and damaged mitochondria are indicated by red arrowheads.
