Capulin Volcano - the toe of a blocky lava flow
Detailed Description
The toe of a blocky (a'a) lava flow from Capulin Volcano. This view is on the north side of the volcano. Although there are no permanent water sources in the National Monument, the park provides habitat for mule deer, pronghorn (American antelope) Elk, and black bear (NPS,2010).
