Chaco Culture - Chetro Ketl
Detailed Description
This view shows the massive thickness and height of some of the stone masonry used in the construction of part of Chetro Ketl. The rock used in construction was quarried from sources along the canyon. The darker brown stone came from upper canyon walls whereas the light tan stone occurs along the lower canyon walls (NPS, [1988]).
