Clarno Unit cliffs
Detailed Description
The ongoing erosional undercutting of the cliff-forming tuff bed results in the occasional collapse of the cliff face. Rock falls produce large boulder debris fields on some of the slopes. Historic digging for fossils has created precarious overhangs that will likely be the location of future rock falls.
