Detailed Description
Big Badlands near the Cedar Pass nature trail in eastern Badlands National Park about one mile east of the Cedar Pass Lodge. Juniper and cedar thrive in the ravines amid prairie grasses and the eroding pinnacles of Tertiary-age terrestrial sedimentary rock units.
