~ Mile 35.7: The "Bridge of Sighs" and three large alcoves in the Redwall Limestone on the north side of the Colorado River in Marble Canyon. Cavernous opening in the Redwall Limestone formed by groundwater solution along intersecting joint sets in the limestone (Potochnik and Reynolds, 1990).
