Detailed Description
Note the green and blue colored leg bands on this Common Loon. Colored leg bands allow individuals to be resighted and identified without being recaptured. All banding and marking is being conducted under a federally authorized Bird Banding Permit issued by the U.S. Geological Survey’s BBL.
