Detailed Description
This view is of a box canyon carved into massive cliffs of Weber Sandstone (Pennsylvanian to Early Permian age, about 300 to 275 million years old; Gregson and Chure, 2000). The box canyon is located near the Josie Morris Cabin at the end of the Cub Creek Road in the western (Utah) section of Dinosaur National Monument.
