Evergreens and riffles on Mill Creek

Mill Creek at Waterford near Wilpen, PA( USGS 03044838, WQN-0878) has a drainage area of 11.7 square miles. The site is about 4.3 miles E of Ligonier, PA. It is one of about 124 water-quality sampling sites throughout Pennsylvania that constitutes the Pennsylvania's Statewide Surface Water-Quality Monitoring Network (WQN), a cooperative program between Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the USGS. About one third of the sites are sampled every month, and the remaining sites are sample every-other month.
