Detailed Description
Ablation (melt) measurement from mid-elevation of Taku Glacier in 2014. The metal pole installed in the glacier on May 1, 2014 recorded 4.9 m of snow melt by September 17, 2014. Ablation at the terminus of Taku Glacier can reach 15m in a given summer.
