City of Rocks National Reserve is located in southern Idaho near the Utah border. The park is known for its massive peaks, spires, pinnacles, and rocks of granite. City of Rocks offers scenic walks, wildlife watching, camping, and world-class technical rock climbing. The unusual landscape is a scenic landmark along the historic California Trail. This view is of a great granitic peak on Green Mountain near the Circle Creek Overlook.
