Halema'uma'u Crater on Kilauea Volcano. This view is from the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory-Jagger Museum area on Crater Rim Drive. Note the extremely smooth topography of this massive shield volcano. The museum center is home to the U.S. Geological Survey's Hawaii Volcano Observatory.
