Detailed Description
The photo shows a high elevation meteorological station. Sleepers River Research Watershed, Danville, Vermont.
Measurements made here include precipitation (Belfort Weighing Bucket, Ott Pluvio and standard precipitation gauge), snow depth and water equivalent, frost, solar and terrestrial radiation, air temperature, relative humidity, and soil moisture. This site is run collaboratively by USGS and Syracuse University.
