Hurricane Michael Pre- and Post-Storm Photo Comparisons - Dog Island

Location 11: The low, narrow area on Dog Island shows evidence that water was freely flowing over this portion of the island. A building located in the center of the inundation area, was moved off its foundation and transported 260 feet (~80 meters) bayward. Waves and surge also eroded the beach and exposed an old shipwreck (green arrow). The probability of inundation for this location was 100%.
