Lake Mead - a view looking downstream

This view is looking downstream along one of the tributaries of Echo Wash toward the Overton Arm of Lake Mead. The photo was taken from the Echo Bay access road about 1 mile east of the intersection with the Northshore Road. Mormon Tea grows amongst outcrops of calcrete that form a caprock along the canyon. The South Virgin Mountains are in the distance beyond the lake.
