Landsat 5 imagery collected July 13, 2005 and processed as a true color (left), color infrared (center), and near infrared band only (right). For near infrared (right), magenta shows vigorous growth while lighter green shows plants under stress. Some stress is desired for sugar beets, as it maximizes development of sugar content.
