Mosaic Canyon
Detailed Description
Mosaic Canyon drains northward through Tucki Mountain into the Mesquite Flat portion of Death Valley. The canyon is accessible from a gravel road that intersects Highway 190 a short distance west of Stovepipe Wells. This view is looking up the wash from near the parking area toward the mouth of the canyon. Quaternary-age alluvial fan deposits are exposed along the lower part of the wash near the parking area.
