NSHM of 2003 for Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands (PRVI)

Detailed Description

From the 2003 NSHM by Mueller et al., 2010, the distribution of spectral acceleration (SA in %g) is shown for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A 2% probability of exceedance in 50 years (about 2,500-year return period) was modeled for 1 second spectral acceleration. Test sites (16) for the 2025 probabilistic seismic hazard analysis are shown as green circles.
