A view of Bear Mountain from the east side of the Hudson River from Anthony's Nose Overlook. Iona Island Bird Sanctuary is in the foreground. The terrace along the base of Bear Mountain represents the base level position of the Hudson River Valley prior to Pleistocene glaciation.
