Location 2: Oblique aerial photographs at Lea-Hutaff Island, North Carolina. Oblique aerial photographs collected before (top) and after (bottom) Hurricane Matthew. Storm waves and surge eroded the beach and transported sand landward in a location where previous overwash into the marsh had occurred. The yellow arrows in each image point to the same features in both photos.
