Photogrammetric model derived from Fissure 8 post-eruption in Hawaii

Detailed Description

A photogrammetric model derived from Fissure 8 post-eruption in Leilani Estates, Big Island, Hawaii.  The fissure opened on Kilauea’s lower east rift zone, leaving this cinder cone in 2018.  The reddish hue is the result of high mineral oxidation within the volcanic composition.  This 3D model was captured from overlapping images from a DJI Mavic Pro UAS platform.
