Restored stream channel at Flatlick Branch
Detailed Description
Flatlick Branch was the site of a stream channel restoration completed in 2018. Conservation practices such as streambed restorations are one way that localities try to limit nutrient and sediment pollution to downstream waterbodies from urban streams such as Flatlick Branch.
This site is a part of the Fairfax County Water Quality Monitoring Network. Data for this site can be found at USGS Water Data for the Nation.
