Sunset Crater - Coconino National Forest
Detailed Description
This view of Sunset Crater is near the south end of the park's Loop Road. Sunflowers thrive in this broad meadow surrounded by a Ponderosa Pine forest. The meadow and forest are part of the Coconino National Forest that surrounds Sunset Crater. The meadow is located just west of the Sunset Crater Visitor Center.
