Tasmania fires 2019 - MODIS

A composite image of bushfires in Tasmania, made using data from bands 7, 2, and 1 of the Moderate Resolution Spectroradiometer (MODIS) onboard NASA's Aqua satellite. MODIS data is stored in the Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC), on site at the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center.
