Detailed Description
Wilderness campsite at Thousand Island Lake. This site was surveyed as part of a sustainable camping study for the Pacific Crest Trail. Research was conducted by Jeff Marion, who is a USGS scientist and adjunct professor at Virginia Tech, along with graduate students at Virginia Tech.
